It is reported that as of August this year, the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline has transported more than 100 million tons of crude oil and natural gas to the country.

On September 28, customs officers inspected key instruments of the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline
In 2013 and 2017, the China-Myanmar natural gas Pipeline and the China-Myanmar crude oil Pipeline were respectively put into operation. The China-Myanmar natural gas Pipeline runs parallel with the China-Myanmar crude oil pipeline, starting from the east coast of the Indian Ocean in the west, traversing Myanmar, entering from Ruili in Yunnan Province, connecting the domestic oil and gas pipeline network, radiating Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong and other provinces, providing a new route to the southwest of China for the diversified pattern of oil and gas imports, and promoting the economic development of southwest China. It also enhances the connectivity of the oil and gas industry development between China and neighboring countries.
Since the opening of the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline, Kunming Customs has continued to promote the construction of smart Customs, relying on the Regional Central Laboratory of Oil and Gas Detection of the General Administration of Customs (Ruili), accurately collect the quality information of crude oil and natural gas varieties, understand various indicators and parameters, and strictly control the quality and safety of imported pipeline energy.
